artichoke + asparagus + beans + beets + berries + broccoli + cabbage + carrots + cauliflower + corn + cotton + cucumbers + eggplant + garlic + grains + greens + melons + okra + onions + peanuts + peppers (bell and hot) + potato (baking and sweet) + radishes + rhubarb + soybeans + spinach + squash, summer + squash, winter (incl pumpkins, butternut, etc.) + sunflowers + tomatoes (several varieties)

trees like almonds, walnuts, pecans, filberts, apples, pears, apricots, cherries, pinion pine, etc.

NOTES:
Remember to stock up and store MANY mason jars, lids and rings, canning / sealing wax, plus all other canning and storing supplies. We love dehydrating, and use the jars for that too.

Having a grocery in your backyard isn't just about the plants. It's also about providing animal protein, feathers, cotton, and more....

FARM ANIMALS TO RAISE:
-chickens & quail (meat, fertilizer,.....eggs, feathers, pest-control)
-bees (pollination, honey, wax)
-dogs (protection)
-cats (mousers)
-goats (milk, cheese, fertilizer,.....lawn control)
